Program Description:
ELIC Engage Hong Kong
ELIC Series - 1

A huge, international metropolis, Hong Kong offers an overseas experience unlike any other. As you teach, your team will encounter the unmatched energy of Southeast Asia’s most captivating city filled with both beautiful mountains and oceans.

Typical Day:

You will start each day teaching three hours of conversational English to your own class of 20 teenagers. While the curriculum is provided, classroom time is meant to be fun, dynamic, and interactive so we encourage teachers to be creative as they formulate their lesson plans. Afternoon sessions consist of conversation practice and cultural presentations. Time spent with students outside of the classroom often creates opportunities for deeper conversations to take place and is where the heart of our ministry lies. Evenings are primarily spent with your team, allowing for time to plan for the following day and have intentional time spent in community, fellowship, and reflection.
