Program Description:

CIEE Business, Economics and Culture Program in Madrid, Spain

Madrid is southern Europe's major financial center and headquarters to most major Spanish companies, so it's the perfect place to pursue learning in business and economics. On CIEE's Business, Economics, and Culture program, you can develop your Spanish language skills while furthering your studies in your field of expertise. You'll have plenty of adventures outside of class. You'll go on excursions that are off the tourist track, volunteer with locals, and if you like, go to work at an internship with a Spanish or international business.

Study abroad in Madrid and you'll:

  • Develop practical technical expertise in a business and economics specialty through an internship with a local company or organization
  • Acquire a deeper literacy about business theory and practice, and gain experience working with Spanish or European perspectives
  • Take advantage of your host institutions' rigorous program offerings
  • Visit company offices and cultural sites of interest in and around Madrid
